"Myanmar meets Europe" is the name for a cultural exchange that started in 2010 between Badamyar Bodint (pat waing, ✝2011 ), U Kyaw Soe (maung zaing), Markus Türk (trumpet) and Tim Isfort (bass) supported by the German embassy, Yangon and Xaver Augustin from the Goethe Institute.
About 25 musicians from Myanmar, Italy, Germany, France, Chile, Netherlands, China, United States were involved in up to 20 workphases in both parts of the world. The music on this album has been recorded in 2014 with different line-ups.
